Jan Linkel has work experience at two companies. Jan started their career at GfK in 2012 as a Student Assistant, where they worked until June 2017. In 2017, they joined TeamBank AG as a Trainee Data, working there until September 2018. Jan then became a Data Analyst/Scientist until March 2020, and finally a Data Scientist from April 2020 onwards.

Jan Linkel completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg from 2011 to 2015. Afterward, Jan pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Wirtschaftsinformatik at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg from 2015 to 2016. Following this, Jan enrolled in The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Business Management with a focus on Business Information Systems from 2015 to 2017. In June 2019, Jan obtained the certification of Exasol Certified Expert for Advanced Analytics from Exasol.
