Ruoyun Jiang started working in 2016 as a Marketing Research Analyst at Hilton, where they scraped web content using Python for marketing research purposes. Ruoyun also used Excel and SQL to process data and create data visualizations. In 2018, they joined Wexler as a Digital Marketing Specialist, where their responsibilities included handling Google AdWords campaigns, tracking and visualizing the effects of digital marketing campaigns, and providing data-oriented reports. Ruoyun Jiang completed their high school education at No.2 Secondary School Attached to ECNU from 2010 to 2013. Ruoyun then pursued a bachelor's degree at Donghua University from 2013 to 2017, majoring in an unspecified field of study. In 2015 to 2016, they also studied finance at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. Ruoyun furthered their education at the University of Maryland from 2017 to 2018, earning a master's degree in Business Statistics.
