Omkhar Arasaratnam serves as a Guest Lecturer for the CS-GY 6903 Applied Cryptography course and as a Capstone Mentor for the MS Cybersecurity Risk and Strategy program at NYU Tandon School of Engineering. Omkhar holds the position of Senior Fellow at the NYU Center for Cybersecurity, engaging in advisory and research activities, and sponsoring the S&K Scholarship. Formerly the General Manager of OpenSSF at The Linux Foundation, Omkhar has also held significant roles at Google as Director of Engineering for Regulated Cloud Solutions, at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as Director of Data Management and Protection Technology, and at Credit Suisse as Global Head Cyber Security. Additional experience includes leadership positions at Deutsche Bank, TD, and IBM, with a focus on security architecture, product management, and engineering across various sectors. Educational background includes studies at Seneca Polytechnic.
