Danica Deming currently serves as the Vice President of Workforce Development & Long Term Recovery at Team Rubicon since August 2024. Prior to this role, Danica held various positions at Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake, Inc. from July 2015 to August 2024, including Director of Workforce Development and Director of Placement Services & Data Administration, where responsibilities included overseeing multiple workforce development programs and acting as a System Administrator for a data management system. Earlier experience includes roles such as Career Services Manager, Business Engagement Specialist, and Career Services Coordinator, focusing on job placement, relationship building with employers, and program outcomes. Danica began the career in employment services at PDG Rehabilitation as an Employment Specialist from March 2014 to July 2015, assisting individuals with mental health disabilities in securing and maintaining employment. Danica holds a Master's Degree in Sociology from DePaul University and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from the same institution, with prior studies at Warren Wilson College.
