LaMonica Williams has a diverse background in education and program management, currently serving as Senior Director of Programs and Services at Teaching Matters since October 2015. Prior roles at Teaching Matters include Director of Programs for the Pre K - 2 Division and Field Director for Early Reading. Previously, LaMonica held the position of Instructional Coach at South Bronx Classical Charter School II and was a Lead Teacher in a charter school. Additionally, LaMonica began a teaching career with Teach For America. Early in professional history, LaMonica gained experience as an Account Manager and Account Executive at BBDO. Educational qualifications include a B.S. in Advertising and a B.A. in Spanish from Syracuse University, along with a Master of Education from Relay Graduate School of Education.
