Miraha Smith is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Assistant Principal at Rocketship Public Schools and a Facilitator/Consultant at Teaching Lab. With a strong background in teaching and coaching, Miraha has held various roles including Middle School Teacher and ELA Content Lead at Global Leadership Academy Schools, where responsibilities included providing mentorship and analyzing student data for curriculum improvement. A former Pre-Service Secondary Humanities Content Facilitator with Teach For America, Miraha excelled in delivering engaging content and facilitating adult learning. Additional experience includes coaching a 6th grade ELA teacher in Philadelphia and participating in a competitive leadership development program as an Aspiring School Leader Fellow. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Policy from Temple University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
