Dina Simon currently serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at the Teachers' Retirement System of the City of New York, a position held since October 2022. Previously, Simon worked as a Senior Advisor in Human Resources for the City of New York and held the role of Chief of Staff & Executive Director of the Pay Equity Cabinet at the NYC Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs, where strategic initiatives were innovated during uncertain times. Other notable positions include Chief of Staff/Deputy Commissioner at the NYC Department of Veterans' Services and Senior Advisor to the Governor of the US Virgin Islands. With extensive experience in human resources, administration, and organizational development, Simon directed critical operations at various NYC agencies, including the Department of Correction and the Office of the Comptroller. Simon holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Long Island University and multiple relevant certifications, including a Leadership Certificate from Harvard Kennedy School.
