Josh Sutcliffe re-joined Stanford University in 2016 as the Director of Rugby after working as an assistant coach from 2005-08. A native of Australia, he represented Australian Universities before moving to the USA. He continued to play domestically in the top club competitions and earned his international caps for the Philippine Volcanoes, the national team of the Philippines. While playing, Sutcliffe has held many different roles including working with USA Women’s Sevens Development Assistant Coach, UNCG Assistant Coach and Glendale Raptors Scrum Coach. He formerly served in the administrative role of Director of Coach Development with USA Rugby.
