Sharaé Curd serves as the Pennsylvania Managing Director of Programs for Teach Plus since February 2023, bringing extensive experience in education and program management. Previously, Sharaé held several key positions within Pittsburgh Public Schools, including Director of Teaching & Learning and School Improvement, as well as roles focused on teaching environments and human capital management. Sharaé also contributed as a Strategic Data Project Fellow at the Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University. Earlier career experiences include teaching elementary students in both Pittsburgh Public Schools and the NYC Department of Education, along with time spent as a Corps Member with Teach For America. Sharaé holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Science in Teaching from Pace University.
