Mary Rose Donahue is a dedicated educator and policy advocate with extensive experience in teaching and coaching. Currently serving as a Senior Education Policy Fellow at Teach Plus since June 2021, Donahue engages in research and advocacy to promote equity and student success. Concurrently, Donahue teaches 10th-grade Language Arts and advanced courses at Boulder High School, providing academic and social-emotional support to over 150 students. Past roles include coaching diving teams in various capacities, serving as a summer school teacher, and developing innovative curricula in STEM and gifted education. Donahue holds a Master of Arts in Secondary English from Colorado College, alongside a Bachelor's in English Literature with minors in Education and Film Studies.
