Faviola Leyva is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in video production and journalism. Currently serving as the Director and Video Producer at Teach For America, Faviola has played a key role in creating impactful documentaries and videos that promote educational equity. Faviola co-founded Collective Focus Films in 2023 and previously worked with various organizations, including Youth Beat at KDOL-TV as a Video Teacher/Producer, UC Berkeley as a Video/Documentary Fellow, and CBS News as a News Intern. Faviola's background includes roles in investigative reporting, education reporting, and marketing, supported by a Master's Degree in Journalism from UC Berkeley and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Spanish from UC Santa Barbara.
