Jason Wong is an experienced property development professional with a strong background in managing large-scale developments and asset portfolios. Currently serving as Property Development Director at Te Whānau O Waipareira since January 2022, Jason is focused on executing major community housing projects and a wellness and healthcare precinct. Previously, Jason held the position of Portfolio Development Manager at Ngai Tai Waipareira Housing Limited, driving property development activities through joint ventures with both the Crown and the private sector. Jason's career also includes a role as Development Manager at Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei Whai Rawa, managing assets for positive commercial returns, and as Senior Asset Manager at DNZ Property Fund Limited, overseeing an industrial portfolio valued at $195 million. Education includes a Post Graduate Diploma in Business, Finance from the University of Auckland Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Property Administration focused on Property Investment and Management from The University of Auckland.
