Avnish Mehra, MSc, currently serves as a Senior Market Risk Analyst at TD Securities since May 2022, bringing extensive experience in market risk and analysis. Previously held the position of Jr Business Analyst at RBC Capital Markets, contributing to initiatives within the Portfolio & Change Management group, which included analyzing workflow processes and participating in the Post Trade Modernization Project. Earlier roles include Operations Officer at TD, where responsibilities involved ensuring client documentation accuracy, and Senior Analyst at Macquarie Group, focusing on scenario risk reports for various asset classes. Avnish also gained experience as a Research Associate at S&P Global Market Intelligence and as an Analyst at BlackRock, where risk exposure analysis and financial product understanding were key components of the roles. Avnish began the professional journey as a Management Trainee at Standard Chartered Bank after earning a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance from Leeds University Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
