Naveen Balakrishnan is an accomplished finance and management professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across prominent financial institutions. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of Third Party Management at TD since August 2022, Naveen also held the position of Adjunct Associate Professor at Harvard University from September 2022 to September 2023. Previous roles include Vice President positions at TD Securities focusing on FICC Strategic Initiatives and Investment Banking Technology, as well as Managing Director roles at BMO Capital Markets, where responsibilities spanned strategy, business transformation, technology, and operations. Early career experience includes managerial roles at Deloitte and regulatory responsibilities as a Senior Financial Examiner at the MFDA. Naveen holds a CPA designation from CPA Canada, an MBA in Strategy and Finance from the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics, a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Toronto Scarborough, and a CIA certification from IIA-The Institute of Internal Auditors.
