Christopher Fred currently serves as Executive Vice President and Head of Credit Cards and Unsecured Lending at TD since July 2022. Previously, Christopher held the position of Managing Director at Citi, overseeing proprietary credit cards and loyalty from May 2020 to July 2022, and at Goldman Sachs, managing product management for the Apple Card from October 2019 to May 2020. Christopher’s extensive experience at Citi includes multiple roles focused on proprietary credit cards and unsecured lending from June 2012 to October 2019. Prior roles at American Express spanned various leadership positions in digital marketing, acquisition, and product management from December 1996 to January 2012. Christopher began a career in economic analysis at the National Council on Compensation Insurance before earning a B.A. in Economics from the University at Albany.
