Mae Wright

Mae Wright has extensive experience in workforce development and education, serving as President of the Tennessee College of Applied Technology Hartsville since February 2005, where the institution focuses on providing quality technical education and training for the local workforce. Wright has also held positions such as Member of the Board of Directors for the Tennessee Central Economic Alliance/Four Lake Authority since September 2014 and served as a Commissioner on the Council on Occupational Education between January 2012 and December 2017. Prior roles include Board Member for the NCAC - Middle TN Workforce Investment Board from 2010 to 2017 and Assistant Director at the Tennessee Technology Center at Hartsville from July 1997 to January 2005. Wright’s educational background includes a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Adult Education from Tennessee State University, a Bachelor’s in Management/Human Relations from Trevecca Nazarene University, and an Associate’s in Business and Commerce from Volunteer State Community College.
