Tazo Lezhava is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data science and finance. Currently serving as the Head of Data Science & AI at TBC Bank, Tazo oversees a team of 30 specialists, managing data science projects and MLOps, while also focusing on employee training and career development. Previously, Tazo established and led the Model Risk Management department at TBC Group PLC, addressing model-related risks. Tazo also co-founded Homeview.ai, served as a Quantitative Researcher and Portfolio Manager at BlackRock, and held various roles in academia and banking. Tazo holds a Master of Science in Financial Economics from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics from the American University in Bulgaria.
