Lucy Carstarphen has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Lucy is currently the Director of Recruiting at Taylor English Duma LLP, a position they assumed in January 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Legal Recruitment for the Legal Practice at LHH, formerly Special Counsel, from November 2021 to January 2022. Lucy also held the role of Director of Legal Recruitment at SCI, Special Counsel's Legal Staffing Division, from March 2016 to November 2021.

Before transitioning to the legal recruitment field, Lucy worked as an Associate at Boutwell & Associates, where they represented insurance companies in subrogation cases from May 2015 to February 2016. From August 2013 to May 2015, they were an Associate at Clark & Washington, P.C., and from October 2011 to August 2013, they worked as an Attorney at King & Spalding.

Lucy began their career as a Legal Clerk at the Internal Revenue Service, where they served from August 2010 to October 2011. Lucy'sroles have involved tasks such as conducting investigations, analyzing potential liabilities, negotiating with opposing counsel, and representing clients in court appearances.

Lucy Carstarphen completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Georgia - Franklin College of Arts and Sciences from 2001 to 2005. Later, from 2008 to 2011, they pursued their Doctor of Law (JD) degree at the Georgia State University College of Law.
