Sébastien Pasche has extensive experience in engineering, cloud architecture, open-source contributions, and security. Sébastien has worked in various roles since 2006. In 2018, they began working as the VP of Engineering at Taurus Group SA. From 2017-2018, they worked as a Senior Architect at ELCA Informatique SA/ELCA Informatik AG. From 2016-2017, they were a speaker for Microservices with OpenShift: Experience from the Fields. From 2012-2017, they worked as a Freelance Cloud Architect and from 2012-2016 they worked at LeShop.ch as a Security & IT Infrastructure Architect and Security and Systems Engineer. In 2013, they were a Lecturer for Master of Science in Engineering courses at HES-SO. From 2012-2013, they were an Author for Linux Magazine for the article Architecture and Scaling of Shinken Monitoring. In 2012, they worked as a Software Security Engineer at Symbios Orthopédie SA. Sébastien Pasche began their educational journey in 2000 at the Centre professionnel du Littoral neuchâtelois, where they obtained a CFC in Information and Communication Technology in 2004. Sébastien then attended the University of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland (HEIG-VD) from 2006 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor degree in Networking, Information Security, and Development. In 2009, they completed their Master degree in Information Security at HES-SO. In 2010, they obtained a Cisco CCNA Certification Training Courses from the Centre professionnel du Littoral neuchâtelois, as well as a OSSTMM CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL SECURITY ANALYST (OPSA) certification from ISECOM. Sébastien also completed a Virtualization professional training at the University of Applied Sciences of Geneva (HEPIA) in 2010. In 2013, they took a course in Functional Programming Principles in Scala at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne). In 2014, they took courses in Testing for DOM-based Cross site scripting with DOMinatorPro at Mindedsecurity, Developing iApps and BIG-IP ASM : Application Security Manager at F5, Configuring BIG-IP LTM and Administering BIG-IP at F5, Terrorism and Counterterrorism: Comparing Theory and Practice at Leiden University, and Computing for Data Analysis at Johns Hopkins University.
