Josh Criswell has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Josh began their journey as an Automotive Technician at Firestone Complete Auto Care in 2008 before transitioning to an Internship role at Leprino Foods in 2010. In 2011, they worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Control Consultants & Services, Inc. Following this, Josh joined Ulterra Drilling Technologies L.P. in 2012 as an Applications Engineering Intern. Josh then assumed the role of Dedicated National Engineer and later Application Engineer at the same company from 2013 to 2018. Moving on, Josh served as a Field Drilling Optimization Engineer and Remote Drilling Operations Engineer, EXCOM at Pioneer Natural Resources Company from 2018 to 2020. Josh then worked as a Sales Engineer at NOV from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they are employed at Taurex Drill Bits as a Solutions Catalyst Manager & Technology Lead, starting in 2022. Josh also pursued their education during their career, where they were a Graduate Student in Systems Engineering at Southern Methodist University from 2021 to 2022.
Josh Criswell obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University in the years 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended South Plains College from 2006 to 2009, where they pursued Automotive Service Technology. Recently, in the years 2021 to 2022, they completed a Master of Science degree in Systems Engineering from Southern Methodist University. Additionally, Josh has obtained several certifications, including a Certificate of Leadership from SMU Lyle School of Engineering in May 2021, Introduction to Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing from LinkedIn in July 2020, Six Sigma Black Belt Certification - Level I and Six Sigma Green Belt in Engineering from The Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC) in May 2020, and IADC WellSharpâ„¢ IADC - Drilling Operations Well Control, Surface from IADC Houston Chapter in February 2018.
