Joseph Kayes is currently working as a Team Leader: City Operations and Advisor: Parks Operations at Tauranga City Council since January 2022. Prior to this role, Joseph was a professional athlete in Water Polo, representing organizations like Pro Recco Waterpolo Club, Water Polo Australia, OSC Budapest, and SZEGED BETON. Joseph has achieved notable accomplishments such as being a Rio De Janeiro Olympian, a member of the Australian Men's Water Polo Team, winning a silver medal at the Fina World Cup in 2018, and securing two World Championships. Joseph also has a background in accounting, having worked as a Junior Accountant at Willett Johnson Partners. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Business in Management from Massey University.
