Jana Parvanova has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Jana began their career in 1998 as a Software Engineer at Sirma AI, where they worked until 2000. Following this, they joined Sirma Solutions in 2000 as a Project Lead, and later became a Board Member in 2011. In 2010, they also served as an Advisory Board Member at Sirma Group Holding JSC. In 2011, Jana became the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Sirma ITT until 2012. Jana then joined Ontotext AD in 2012 as a Team Lead until 2014. Currently, Jana is employed at Taulia, where they began as a Senior Engineering Manager in 2014 and later transitioned to the role of Director of Engineering in 2020.

Jana Parvanova obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Sofia University from 1992 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended English Language High School from 1988 to 1992, majoring in English.
