Carlos Gutierrez currently serves as the Director of Continuous Improvement at Saputo Inc., a position held since June 2024. Prior to this role, Carlos worked at Tate & Lyle as the Global Operations Master Black Belt from August 2017 to February 2024. Carlos also held the title of Master Black Belt and Associate Director of Continuous Improvement for the North America Region at Mondelēz International from October 2012 to April 2017, focusing on loss intelligence and eradication in the Biscuit and Confectionary sectors. Earlier career experiences include roles as a Master Black Belt at Kraft Foods, where emphasis was placed on improvement projects for Oreo, and a Business Unit Manager for Oreo during a temporary assignment managing five production lines. Prior roles at Kraft Foods also included positions in continuous improvement and manufacturing engineering. Carlos began professional career experiences as an Industrial Engineer at Micron Industries Corporation and as a Structural Aircraft Mechanic in the US Navy. Carlos holds an MBA from Loyola University Chicago and a degree in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
