Balaje Rajan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the automotive and engineering sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Strategy Officer for Tata Motors, Balaje leads the strategy and international business for both Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd. Prior to this role, Balaje was the Practice Head for Automotive & Engineering at Tata Strategic Management Group, overseeing strategic projects within the Tata Group. Balaje's experience also includes a senior management position at A.T. Kearney, where multiple projects in automotive and energy sectors were led. Early career roles include co-founding a cleantech start-up focused on electronics recycling, product quality and quality systems engineering at Tesla, and process engineering at Siemens VDO Automotive. Balaje holds an MBA from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering, summa cum laude, from Old Dominion University.
