Amit Bansal is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Deputy Vice President for Large Corporates at Tata Capital since January 2019, where Amit manages large corporate relationships in Northern India. Prior to this role, Amit held the position of Vice President in Corporate & Investment Banking at IL&FS Financial Services Limited, overseeing large corporate relationships for investment banking products in Delhi from June 2008 to January 2019. Amit's earlier experience includes roles as Senior Manager at GE Commercial Finance, focusing on asset-based funding for corporate customers, and Territory Manager at Citicorp, where Amit maintained significant market share in construction equipment financing in the Jaipur region. Amit began the career as a Management Trainee at SREI Infrastructure Finance Limited and also undertook a summer project with Godfrey Phillips India Ltd. Educationally, Amit holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Chaudhary Charan Singh University and an MBA in Marketing/Finance from NIILM - Centre for Management Studies.
