Travis Nelson has a solid work experience in the field of software engineering. Travis began their career at Lockheed Martin as a Software Engineer Associate in June 2015 and worked on various projects involving C++, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Bootstrap, and JavaScript. Travis also gained experience in developing and implementing tests at unit and integration levels using Boost, JUnit, and Selenium libraries. Travis practiced the SAFe ScrumXP development methodology and even served as the Scrum Master for two program increments. Travis took on additional responsibilities, such as owning a major interface to an external government body and acting as the primary point of contact for all related matters. Travis left Lockheed Martin in May 2017 and joined Boecore, Inc. as a Software Engineer in June 2017. After working there for two years, they joined Peraton in February 2019 and then transitioned to Booz Allen Hamilton in October 2020, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer until August 2021. Currently, Travis is a Software Engineer at Tasso, Inc., starting from August 2021.

Travis Nelson received a Technical Honors Diploma from Rochester High School in the years 2007 to 2011. Following this, they attended Trine University from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering. Travis then pursued further education at Regis University from 2016 to 2018, earning a Master's Degree in Software Engineering.
