Jeff Schogol is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience covering military affairs. Currently serving as the Senior Pentagon Reporter for Task & Purpose since January 2018, Schogol reports on a range of topics including military justice, Defense Department policies, and veterans issues. Previously, Schogol held the position of Senior Writer at Air Force Times from December 2011 to August 2023, focusing on the impact of Air Force leadership decisions on airmen. Schogol has also worked for Marine Corps Times and Warlord Loop as a Senior Reporter, and contributed as a Reporter at Stars and Stripes, where a weekly column explored military rumors and myths.
