Maud Payan is a co-founder of Tarmac Technologies since 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a strategy and innovation consultant at Starburst Aerospace Accelerator from March 2018 to August 2018. Maud also worked as a system integration engineer intern at Safran Electronics & Defense, working on the PATROLLER Project and specializing in UAVs, from March 2017 to August 2017. Maud also has experience as a UAV pilot and operations engineer assistant at Airware EMEA from March 2016 to August 2016. Additionally, they served as the president of Team Voile Centrale Nantes from February 2015 to March 2016, where they organized sailing training and managed a team of 20 students. Maud also worked as a teacher in mathematics and physics at Acadomia from September 2014 to March 2016 and as an assistant marketing at Ceva Animal Health in July 2015.

Maud Payan's education history starts in 2018 when they attended HEC Paris and pursued an M.S. degree in X-HEC Entrepreneur. Maud completed their studies there in 2019. During the same year, they attended Le Wagon and obtained a degree in Full-Stack Web Development, specializing in programming and computer science.

Prior to that, Maud Payan studied at McGill University from 2016 to 2018, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Aeronautics and Space Engineering (M.Eng). Before attending McGill, they completed their General Engineering Diploma (M.Eng) at Ecole centrale de Nantes from 2014 to 2018.

Maud'searlier education includes attending Lycée Sainte-Geneviève from 2011 to 2014, where they focused on Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Before that, from 2008 to 2011, they attended Lycée Immaculée Conception and obtained their Scientific Baccalauréat.

In addition to their educational achievements, Maud Payan was recognized with the Forbes 30 under 30 certification in April 2020, demonstrating their notable achievements and contributions in their field.
