Cuihtlauac Alvarado has a solid work experience in the field of software engineering. Cuihtlauac is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Tarides since September 2022. Prior to that, they had an extensive tenure with Orange, where they held various roles over the years. From January 2018 to September 2022, they were a Corecursive Tinkerer, while also serving as a Software Expert in Mobile Platforms from May 2014 to September 2022. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Standardization Manager from July 2009 to September 2022 and as an Engineer-Researcher from September 2001 to September 2022. Cuihtlauac also had a role as Mobile and Embedded Java Standards from May 2005 to December 2010.

Cuihtlauac ALVARADO completed their education in Computer Science, with a focus on computer science research and development. From 1990 to 1996, they attended Université de Poitiers and obtained a Maîtrise degree. They further pursued their studies at Université de Bordeaux from 1997 to 1998, where they obtained a DEA degree. Finally, they attended Université Paris Sud Orsay, CNET and France Telecom R&D from 1998 to 2002, completing a doctoral degree (PhD) in Computer Science.
