Ben Hansen is a seasoned professional in sustainability and responsible materials, currently serving as the Director of Responsible Materials for Target, where leadership is provided to the Owned Brand Responsible Materials team. With a tenure at Target extending back to October 2011, Ben started as a Principal Sustainability Engineer, focusing on sustainable raw materials and operational processes, emphasizing the synergy between technology and sustainability. Prior experience includes roles as a Process Engineer at GAF and Domtar, where responsibilities encompassed process engineering and supervisory duties across various production departments. Ben holds a Bachelor of Science in Paper Science and Engineering from Western Michigan University, earned between 1998 and 2003.
