Shahad Al Barwani is a Digital Transformation Analyst specializing in Decarbonisation and Renewable Energy at Target Energy Solutions since January 2024. Previously, Shahad gained experience as a Decarbonisation Intern at OQ, where responsibilities included collecting and analyzing greenhouse gas emissions data. Shahad also served as Vice President for both the Omani Students Society and the Renewable Energy Society at the University of Exeter, contributing to the university's engagement in renewable energy issues. An earlier role as an Alternative Energy Intern at OQ involved conducting emissions analysis and developing a roadmap model for decarbonization initiatives. Shahad holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Renewable Energy Engineering from the University of Exeter, achieved with First Class honors, and completed a Foundation in Engineering, Mathematics, and Physical Sciences with Distinction.
