Matt Lord has extensive experience in compliance, forensic services, and financial advisory within the Energy and Resources sector. Currently serving in Global Compliance at TAQA Group since May 2023, Matt previously spent a decade at Deloitte, culminating in the role of Director in the Advisory - Energy & Resources division. Responsibilities included leading teams on contract compliance and cost recovery as well as managing medium to large scale forensic investigations. Prior roles at Deloitte also involved expertise in forensic accounting and business development initiatives targeting the Energy, Resources, and Industrials industries. Matt’s earlier experience includes risk management and audit roles at Federated Co-operatives Limited. Educational credentials include multiple professional designations in accounting and fraud investigation from recognized institutions, alongside a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan.
