Iain Good has extensive experience in planning and engineering within the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as the Decommissioning Planning Lead at TAQA Group since November 2016, Iain facilitates collaboration and integration for the Decommissioning Directorate, while interfacing with other directorates within Taqa Europe. Prior roles include Senior Planning Engineer at TAQA Group, where Iain contributed to the governance and preparation of drilling operations, and Lead Planner at AMEC, overseeing multiple contracts. Iain’s previous positions also include Senior Planning Engineer at Wood Group PSN and Lab Supervisor at Core Laboratories, highlighting a solid background in both planning and laboratory management. Iain began a career as a Draughting Technician at Wa Fairhurst & Partners, focusing on structural draughting and onsite surveys.
