Caeli Kean is an accomplished ecological and community engagement professional with diverse experience in environmental restoration, communications, and education. Currently serving as an Ecological Restoration Technician at the Chicago Botanic Garden, Caeli also works as a Communications Strategy Consultant for the Centre for Ecosystem Restoration in Kenya. Previous roles include Program Associate at Star Farm Chicago, Plant Breeding Intern at The Morton Arboretum, and various teaching and support positions at High Jump and Wheaton College. Notable contributions include digital art creation for The Marjorie Kovler Torture Treatment Center and art instruction for community programs at the RIVER CITY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CENTER. Caeli holds a Bachelor of Arts in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from Wheaton College and has furthered education at the United States International University - Africa.
