Betty Torres, MPA, currently serves as the Human Resources Director at the Hispanic Housing Development Corporation and as an Advisory Council Member for the Buccino Leadership Institute at Seton Hall University. With extensive experience in human resources, Betty has held several key positions, including Director of Human Resources for Cook County Government and Cook County Health and Hospitals System. As an Independent Human Resources Consultant and Senior HR Generalist at Taproot Foundation, Betty specializes in pro bono HR capacity building. Betty's education includes a Master of Public Administration from Spertus Institute and a B.S.B.A. in Human Resources Management from Roosevelt University, with ongoing studies at Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago.
