Dean Hastie has a wealth of work experience. In 2021, they were Co-founder & CEO of Tapline, an organization that helps subscription-based companies access instant cash without taking on restrictive debt. Dean also serves as an Entrepreneur at Antler. From 2018 to 2021, they were Senior Vice President at GreenTec Capital Partners. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Management Consultant at Commerzbank AG. From 2008 to 2016, they were a Senior Investment Manager at Sanlam Investments.

Dean Hastie has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from ESB Business School, Reutlingen University, which they obtained in 2016 with a focus on International Business. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Nelson Mandela University Business School in 2014.
