Nelson Cardoso has extensive experience in the IT and telecommunications sectors, particularly within TAP Air Portugal. Since January 2005, Nelson has held multiple leadership roles, currently serving as the Head of Cloud & Platforms, overseeing technological architecture innovation and management for the TAP Air Portugal Group. Prior to this, Nelson led IT Solutions & Services and Technological Services & Production, ensuring alignment of technological solutions with business objectives. Nelson's career at TAP began in 1996 as an IT Project Leader and Service Manager, managing critical systems and technological transformations, including a significant integration project within the Qualiflyer group. Earlier roles included Graduate Engineer and Telecom and System Engineer, where Nelson focused on innovative projects for telecommunications. Educational qualifications include a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and additional studies at Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
