Tom Xu has a comprehensive work history in operations management and leadership roles. Tom is currently the Vice President of Global Operations at Taoglas, where they oversee and directs the overall performance of the global operations organization. Prior to this, they served as the Asia Operations VP at Taoglas, responsible for the strategic development of the company's manufacturing footprint in Taiwan.
Before joining Taoglas, Tom worked at PuSi Electronics as the Plant General Manager, overseeing operations in Suzhou and Vancouver. In this role, they managed various departments such as HR, Finance, R&D, Project Management, Sourcing, Planning, Buyer, Logistics, Quality, Process Engineering, Facility and Production. Tom also served as the Global Operations Manager for Wireless Infrastructure, responsible for two factories and leading teams to achieve quality, cost, and delivery targets.
Tom's previous experience includes roles at Radio Frequency Systems (RFS), where they served as the BSA Manufacturing Manager and IE Manager, focusing on production efficiency, testing optimization, and global industrialization. Tom also worked as a Process Engineer at REMEC and ADC earlier in their career.
Tom Xu obtained a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where they studied from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Automatic at East China University of Science and Technology, from 1998 to 2002.
