James Marchand, CPA has worked as a Financial Controller at Tantalus Labs since September 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Board Member and Finance Chair at Valley Therapeutic Equestrian Association from October 2020 to October 2021. James also gained experience as a Senior Accountant at KPMG Canada from October 2017 to September 2021. James has a strong commitment to volunteering and has served as a Volunteer at Canucks Autism Network from January 2014 to September 2020. James also worked as a Sport Coordinator at Special Olympics British Columbia from May 2015 to September 2017. Furthermore, James has experience as a Fitness Consultant at Fitness 2000 Athletic Club from December 2011 to May 2015, and as a Tutor at James Marchand Tutoring from December 2008 to December 2012. James also volunteered at the Canadian Mental Health Association from August 2010 to July 2012.

James Marchand, CPA completed their education at two different institutions. From 2016 to 2018, James attended UBC Sauder School of Business where they pursued a Diploma in Accounting Program, specializing in the field of Accounting. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2012, they studied at Simon Fraser University and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree with a focus on Behavioural Neuroscience.
