Bisma Anwar, LPC, LMHC has a diverse work experience in the mental health field. Bisma currently runs their private practice as a licensed mental health counselor since 2017. Additionally, Bisma serves as a team lead for Talkspace's clinical marketing media team and as a network clinician. Bisma is also a therapist at Octave. Previously, Bisma worked as a primary therapist at The Mount Sinai Hospital for six years. Bisma has also held positions as a licensed mental health counselor and media team member at Talkspace and as a mental health and wellness counselor at the South Asian Council for Social Services (SACSS). Bisma's experience also includes being a domestic violence counselor at Turning Point for Women and Families and a counseling psychology intern at The Mount Sinai Hospital.

Bisma Anwar, LPC, LMHC completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from Queens College. Bisma later earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Mental Health Counseling and a Master of Education in Psychological Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University.
