Yirgaalem Mekonen is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Finance at Talento since October 2021, Yirgaalem has also held the position of Finance Manager at Queensberry Hotel and Bar since May 2016. Previous roles include Commercial Finance Analyst at Bupa from July 2014 to April 2017 and multiple finance roles at Sainsbury's between April 2008 and June 2014, including Retail Finance Analyst and Profit Recovery Analyst. Yirgaalem's educational background includes ACCA in Accounting and Finance from ICAEW and Professional Accountancy from London South Bank University, along with a degree in Accounting and Business Management from the University of Asmara, Eritrea.
