Jessica Kubat currently serves as the Head of Corporate Development Law and Assistant General Counsel at Talcott Resolution since April 2022. Previously, Jessica worked as Associate Counsel at Protective Life from March 2011 to April 2022, providing legal support for acquisition activities, technology and vendor contracts, intellectual property, and corporate matters related to life and annuity products. Prior experience includes a role as Vice President, Senior Counsel at Maynard, Cooper & Gale, P.C., where Jessica focused on corporate law, employee benefits, and compliance issues. Jessica initiated professional career as a Traveling Graduate Consultant for Pi Beta Phi Fraternity and holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Political Science and Government from The University of Alabama.
