Stewart Mantell currently serves as the General Manager of Internal Audit and Chief Internal Auditor at TAL Australia, a position held since June 2018, with overall responsibility for internal audit services and membership on the executive management team. Prior to this role, Stewart held various significant positions at Westpac from February 2003 to June 2018, including Head of Audit for both Consumer Bank and Business Bank & Operations, where responsibilities included planning and delivering audit work across multiple divisions. Additionally, Stewart was the Head of Audit for Group Technology and Customer & Business Services, overseeing technology audit work and project auditing. Earlier experience includes a tenure at PwC from 2001 to 2003 as a Senior Manager in Technology Audit. Stewart's education includes a Graduate AICD from the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a CA qualification from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, complemented by a BCom degree from The University of Edinburgh.
