Vassilis Garilas currently serves as Sr. Director, Global Program & Commercial Lead for Plasma Derived Therapies at Takeda, managing the P&L and leading a team focused on products for Plasma Derived Therapies and Hereditary Angioedema. Prior to this role, Vassilis held positions at Shire and Mylan, where expertise in global marketing and strategic initiatives for rare diseases and gastroenterology was demonstrated. Vassilis’s career began at Abbott, where various leadership roles in therapeutic areas such as gastroenterology and liver health were undertaken, resulting in significant market positioning and product success. Vassilis holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Leicester and a BASc in Physics from Panepistimion Ioanninon.
