Vanessa Gleason is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in procurement and business solutions. Currently serving as the Global Head of Takeda Business Solutions and Vice President of TBS Strategy, Partnerships, and Process Excellence at Takeda since November 2019, Gleason leads a global team to implement strategic initiatives that enhance organizational support across Finance, Procurement, and People Solutions. Prior roles include Global Procurement Transformation Lead at AkzoNobel, where significant savings in indirect spend were achieved, and General Manager for People Solutions and GBS Strategy at Rio Tinto, where Gleason drove shared services excellence and transformation. Gleason holds a Master of Business in Supply Chain from The University of Queensland and is a certified member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply.
