Sara Paulillo currently serves as the Global Head of Vaccines MS&T Validation at Takeda, a position held since July 2024. Prior to this role, Sara held various positions at Lonza from September 2017 to June 2024, where responsibilities included delivering process know-how and ensuring technology transfer in biopharma API production as the Head of MSAT DSP - Lonza/BioAtrium, and serving as an MSAT Process Expert DSP focused on process transfer and continuous improvement. Earlier experiences include research roles at Alpha-O Peptides AG, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, and postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Lausanne and the University of Geneva, along with a Ph.D. in Cell Biology from the University of Basel. Sara's extensive background spans biopharmaceutical development, peptide nanoparticle research, and cancer biology, with foundational studies in Food Science and Technology and Chemistry.
