Lana Alkazimi currently serves as Head of Portfolio Insights & Business Planning in Global Medical at Takeda, having joined the company in June 2021. In addition to this role, Lana has undertaken stretch assignments as Interim Head of Business Planning and Interim Chief of Staff for Global Medical Strategy & Operations. Prior experience includes serving as Associate Director and Portfolio Strategy Lead at Takeda and holding various finance-related positions at Novo Nordisk, where responsibilities included strategic finance and financial planning across multiple rotations. Earlier career roles encompassed marketing and business development internships at Zinc and Eli Lilly, along with significant financial analyst positions at iProspect. Lana's educational background includes two MBA degrees from Esade and Texas McCombs School of Business, as well as a Bachelor's in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from the American University of Beirut.
