Jimena Cardona currently serves as the Head of Global Supply Chain for the Small Molecule & Oncology Operational Unit at Takeda, a role held since September 2014. With extensive experience in supply chain management, Jimena has also been responsible for regional operations across various Asian markets and has a strong track record in supply chain performance monitoring, product inventory management, and issue resolution. Prior roles include Head of Supply Chain Coordination for Emerging Markets, where responsibilities spanned LATAM, Middle East, and APAC regions, and Global Supply Chain Project Manager, contributing to the implementation of Takeda's Supply Excellence model. Earlier career highlights include demand planning at Alpina and leadership roles in logistics at Carvajal Pulpa y Papel, as well as warehousing at Colgate Palmolive. Jimena holds a diploma in Supply Chain and Logistics Management from The Ohio State University and a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad ICESI, along with a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
