Alison Handley has over 16 years of experience at Takeda, currently serving as Vice President and Head of the Center for External Innovation, overseeing Search and Evaluation and Business Development Project Management. Previous roles at Takeda include Senior Director for various departments, where Alison developed a Global Medical Affairs data hub and managed R&D strategies and governance. Prior to Takeda, Alison worked at Bristol Myers Squibb as Associate Director of Field Medical, focusing on strategic planning and training within the cardiovascular field. Alison holds a B.S. in Biology from Yale University, a PhD in Physiology from Penn State University, and completed a Post-doctoral Fellowship at Harvard Medical School's Joslin Diabetes Center.
