Patrick Hurd, MA N1, currently serves as a Translator at TAKEBISHI CORPORATION and the TAKEBISHI OPC Team, where responsibilities include document translation, online marketing, and enhancing global brand awareness. Previous experience includes roles in data collection and warehouse operations at Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions, and as a Warehouse Team Member at IKO International. Patrick was an English Language Teacher in Osaka, Japan, through the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program(me) (JET), where collaboration with Japanese educators focused on lesson planning and student support. An Event Assistant position at the Japan America Society of Chicago involved planning events for international communication and cooperation. Patrick holds a Master of Arts in Language Interpretation and Translation from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Language and Literature from Tulane University, complemented by study at Kansai Gaidai University.
